Rose Tripoli Mueller Gives Demos at Folk Art Center and Shows Works at Southern Highland Craft Fair, Both in Asheville, NC

Rose Tripoli Mueller, ceramic artist from Valdese, NC, will be at the Folk Art Center in Asheville, NC, on Monday and Tuesday Oct. 15 and 16, 2012, from 10am-4pm, demonstrating her new sculptural work.

She will also be at the Southern Highland Craft Fair in the new US Cellular Center (formerly the Asheville Civic Center), located at 87 Haywood St., Asheville, Booth #128, on Thursday, Oct. 18 thru Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, from 10am to 6pm, and, on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 10am to 5pm.

Rose Tripoli Mueller Gives Demonstrations at Folk Art Center in Asheville, NC – Mar. 12 & 13, 2012

Rose Tripoli Mueller, ceramic artist from Valdese, NC, will be giving several demonstrations on how to hand-build Spring Flowers with Victorian Clay on Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 12 and 13, 2012, from 10am till 4pm.

“Victorian clay is a non toxic clay made of natural materials (salt and cornstarch). In the Victorian Era, mothers made this salt clay for their children to play and create with. It’s fun to work with!”

One of the main goals of the Southern Highland Craft Guild is education. Members of the Guild share their methods and information about their medium. These educational demonstrations at the Folk Art Center are free and open to the public. Mueller is a ceramic artist and a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild.
