The Stanly County Artist Guild is hosting, From The Art, an exhibit of works by June Rollins featuring art and essays at the Stanly Agri-Center in Albemarle, NC, on view from Oct. 2 – 29, 2010.
Rollins lives in Wadesboro, NC. Inspired by the bearded iris she planted last year, she photographed and is currently painting the “All About Iris Series”. This painting shown, along with 20 others of varied subjects will be included in the exhibit at the Stanly Agri-Center.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Stanly County Arts Guild. Hanging beside each painting will be From The Art essays written by the artist explaining the inspiration behind the individual works.
