Theatre Art Galleries in High Point, NC, Offers Day Trip to Virginia Museum of Fine Arts – Mar. 25, 2011

Theatre Art Galleries is pleased to announce a Day Trip to Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Friday, March, 25th 2011.

Theatre Art Galleries and the Culler Senior Center in High Point, NC, will be hosting a bus day trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA, on Friday, Mar. 25, 2011, to attend the exhibition, Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris.

“[The Picasso Exhibition] is drawn from the collection of the largest and most significant repository of the artist’s work produced during every major artistic period of Pablo Picasso’s eight-decade career. It includes 176 works from Picasso’s personal collection – art that he kept for himself with the purpose of shaping his own legacy,” taken from the VMFA Website.

The VMFA houses a remarkable permanent collection of more than twenty-two thousand works of art from almost every world culture. You can view more information about the museum and to hear about the Picasso exhibition at their website at (www.vmfa.state.va.us).

Cost of the Trip is $85 per person: this includes round trip motor coach, a ticket to the exhibition, and a box lunch along the way.

Payment and registration are due no later than Mar. 18, 2011.
