North Carolina Pottery Center in Seagrove, NC, Features Jugtown Pottery in its Monthly Lecture Series – Apr. 24, 2015

Jugtown Pottery will be presenting at the North Carolina Pottery Center in Seagrove, NC, for the April installment of the Monthly Slide Presentation Series, on Friday, Apr. 24, 2015. Jugtown, open since 1917, is the oldest continually operating pottery in the area. Members of the Owens family will talk about the pottery’s history, as well as what Jugtown looks like today.

Come on out and join us for a fun evening with a Seagrove classic! A potluck at 7pm will begin the evening’s events, followed by the presentation at 8pm.

The lecture will take place at the NCPC Educational Building located behind the NC Pottery Center at 233 East Avenue, Seagrove, NC, 27341.

This ongoing lecture series is facilitated by Josh Floyd, the Artist-in-Residence at the Pottery Center. This presentation is free and open to the public.
