7th Annual Front Porch Art Walk and Sale Takes Place in Raleigh, NC – May 9, 2015

On May 9, 2015, from 10am-6pm, Rain or shine, come and shop locally in one of downtown Raleigh’s most treasured neighborhoods, NOPO neighborhood (NOrth of POlk Street), at the 7th Annual Front Porch Art Walk and Sale. The home and business owners of this neighborhood will graciously host over 35 artists on their porches and in their yards.  It’s an event that should not be missed.

Come and see all that this neighborhood has to offer.  Its streets are lined with beautiful older homes, there are wonderful restaurants, art galleries and unique shops.  It is a great opportunity to buy artwork from up and coming artists as well as long established artists. The artists will be selling ceramics, photography, glass, jewelry, paintings, fiber arts, handmade bath and body products, sculptures, metal works and more. There will also be live music and activities in conjunction with Second Saturday events.

The Front Porch Art Walk and Sale area is bounded by Polk Street to the south, Seaboard Station to the west, Mordecai to the north, and Oakwood to the east. Artists and musicians will exhibit on porches on Blount Street, Pace, and Franklin.

This event is free to the public.  Food trucks will be on site along with the artists and craftsmen.
