The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in Fayetteville, NC, Calls for Entries for Photography Competition – Deadline July 18, 2015


The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in Fayetteville, NC, is calling for entries for “Point of View” a juried photography competition. Photographers, it’s your turn! Show us your best work in “Point of View”. We’re looking for exceptional photography – black-and-white, color and digitally manipulated. $1,000 in awards!

EXHIBITION: Selected works showing a variety of subjects will be exhibited at the Arts Council (301 Hay Street) from July 24 – Sept. 12, 2015.

ENTRY: Deliver to the Arts Council (301 Hay St.) July 17, 9am to 5pm; or July 18, noon to 4pm.

ENTRY FEE: 1-2 entries $20 (Arts Council member $15) or 3-4 entries $30 (Arts Council member $25). Entry fee is non-refundable.

AWARDS: $1,000 total in awards. Prizes awarded at 8pm during the exhibit’s opening on 4th Friday, July 24.

CATEGORIES/MEDIUMS: Awards given in three categories: Black & White (film or digital), Color, and Digital Manipulation

ELIGIBILITY: Point of View is open to any resident 18 years or older in the Cumberland County region including Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland counties, as well as Fort Bragg and Pope Field in North Carolina.
