Vista Studios in Columbia, SC, Features Quilts from SC and GA for Vista Nights – Aug. 20, 2015

“Cut From the Same Cloth,” an exhibit hosted by Susan Lenz and Robert Kennedy, at Gallery 80808 at Vista Studios in Columbia, SC, on Aug, 20, 2015, from 5-8pm during Vista Nights – an art stroll of the Congaree Vista area of downtown Columbia.

This show is on loan from the South Carolina/Georgia region of Studio Art Quilt Associates. The show will feature 20 original contemporary, 12″ x 12″ challenge quilts, created of tie-dyed fabric sent to all members of the organization.

The 2014 SAQA co-regional representatives Victoria Rondeau, Paula Brown, and Meg Filiatrault dyed the fabric.

Gallery 80808/Vista Studios, 808 Lady Street is also the site of a two-day workshop on heat activated techniques being taught by Susan Lenz whose studio is there. Browsers are invited to come see the exhibition during the workshop, Tuesday and Wednesday.  The gallery will be open from 10 – 5 both days.
