Theatre Art Galleries in High Point, NC, Offers Art Trip to Durham, NC – Nov. 4, 2015

Join Theatre Art Galleries in High Point, NC, for a day of art in Durham, NC. We’ll explore Duke University’s Nasher Museum, featuring “The Enclave”, artwork from video installation artist Richard Mosse. We’ll take a tour of Nasher’s historical artwork from around the world from their permanent collection in The New Gallery and selections from their contemporary collection in the exhibit “Reality of My Surroundings”. After lunch, we’ll see the unique modern artwork at the 21c Museum Hotel. 21c features art installations by several artists created specifically for this space, including artwork using mirrors, foil, paper, light, electricity, and cigarettes. Along with their permanent collection, 21c is also exhibiting “Found@Counting House” focusing on the culture of sports and hunting trophies using found and everyday materials.
