Beginning January 2016, agricultural sites and artisans can apply online to participate in the annual Ag+Art Tour of Lancaster County, SC. Lancaster County is one of nine counties which comprise the 2016 South Carolina Ag+Art Tour. The self-guided tour of farms, with artisans located on-site will be held June 11, 2016 from 9am until 5pm and June 12 from 1-5pm.
South Carolina Ag+Art Tour, a partnership of Clemson Extension and Olde English District Tourism Commission, is the nation’s largest free farm tour and offers visitors the opportunity to explore and enjoy designated farms in South Carolina featuring local artisans and farmers’ markets. During this tour visitors can see first-hand where food comes from, watch artists in action and purchase their works, dance to the melodies of bluegrass and folksongs, and learn more about rural life.
