For nearly 30 years, Maryrose Carroll has been a figure of central interest and importance in the expansion of American sculpture during the period. Her towering public sculptures are located in Charlotte, Hickory, and Fayetteville, NC, and in Illinois and California. Her sculpture is in museum collections in Chicago and Springfield, IL, Hartford, CT, Dayton and Oxford, OH.  She has taught at Northwestern University and Appalachian State University. Carroll is also a poet and author. Her second book, Beats Me, has been selected as a “100 Notable 2015” book by Shelf Unlimited, an award-winning, online magazine.

Join TAG as we benefit from Carroll’s years of experience as a sculptor, speaker, and writer on a visual journey of public sculpture in North Carolina.
