ART IN THE BARN will take place at the Ruby Ranch, located at 1556 Tacky Point Road on Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487, on Apr. 30 and May 1, 2016.
The two-day event will bring together a select group of celebrated local and visiting artisans from around the Southeast. These talented potters, painters and wood turners, along with accomplished textile, floral and jewelry designers are sure to create an eclectic array of options for all attendees.
Our current list of participating artisans includes: Elizabeth Bates, Kathy Cooper, Christine Whitman Elliott, Jeff Kopish, Lloyd Mandel, Bette Mueller-Roemer, Kate Waddell, and Elizabeth Heard; however, we expect that this list will grow to include even more talented artisans by the time our event takes place.
The weekend will kick off on Saturday, April 30, at 11am and will last until 6pm. Hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails, provided by our sponsor Fat and Juicy Cocktail Mixers, can be enjoyed starting at 3pm. Live music from bluegrass band,Triangle Bluegrass, will be played from 2 to 4pm. Can’t make it Saturday, the festivities will continue into Sunday from noon to 4pm.
