Homestead Aquatics Center in Chapel Hill, NC, Unveils Installation of Photographs by Barbara Tyroler – June 28, 2014

Meet artist Barbara Tyroler, with Rockin’ photo printer and renown photographer, Wojtek Wojdnyski, June 28, 2014, from 4-6pm at the Homestead Aquatics Center in Chapel Hill, NC, to preview “Rockin’ the Spectrum”, a permanent installation of large-scale, abstract photographic water portraits of children in the Chapel Hill Park and Recreation Department Adapted Aquatics swimming classes.


The work is a project of Into the Streets, a community residency program of the Park’s Division of Cultural Arts and the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission. Editorial assistance from curator and art historian Dr. Michael Mezzatesta and artists Katherine Armacost and Sandy Milroy.

The Homestead Aquatics Center is located at 300 Northern Park Drive.
