A Street Festival Celebrating the Art, Music, and Historic Preservation of North Carolina: Saturday, May 14, from 10am-5pm. Presented by the High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Viva La Art Committee. Whether you’re traveling solo or with family and friends, get yourself to the 100 blocks of East and West Farriss Avenues in the heart of Uptowne High Point for a fun-filled day celebrating art, music and history! Enjoy, and share with your children and grandchildren, the unique history of North Carolina, one of America’s original thirteen colonies!


Have a selfie made with policemen and firemen in vintage uniforms. The Krispy Kreme Cruiser will be there! Puddingstone Music Group performs with 18th C. instruments. Students from St. Mary’s Music Academy will be playing in the sanctuary. Listen to local musicians on the city stage. The Scrap Exchange will offer art classes utilizing recycled materials. Arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and more provide a festive day on the town! 100 Block of East & West Farriss Avenues. Free, open to all, no reservation required.
