The Transylvania Community Arts Council will host its summer “fun”-raiser ART SPARK – ignite your passion for the arts, on Sunday, August 9 at Old Bishop Place Farm in Cedar Mountain, NC, from 5-8pm. This will be an art auction of “Outdoor Art” and a Garden Party. The auction items of garden and outdoor artwork are designed and crafted by local artisans. There will be a live auction, silent auction and a raffle during the evening. Come experience the creative process as several local artists create paintings during the party to be auctioned as the evening’s Grand Finale. Live painters include: Ann DerGara, Eric DerGara, Ashley Sterling Lowe, and John Davis.

Tickets to Art Spark are $55 and include: heavy hors-d`oeuvres, two drink tickets, dessert and the chance to participate in the auction. All proceeds benefit the Transylvania Community Arts Council.
