Handpicked Art Show and Concert Takes Place in Columbia, SC – Aug. 30, 2012

August 6, 2012

The Handpicked Art Show & Concert featuring 5 artists, 4 musicians & 2 inventors, hosted by Jeanee Bourque and Keith Bates will take place on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, from 7-11:30pm at the Conundrum Music Hall, 626 Meeting Street in West Columbia, SC.

Conundrum is a wonderful listening venue. Although they do sell beer and wine, it is not a bar. There is room for 99 people inside and 100’s more outside. They have a wide variety of performers come through their doors playing music with a fantastic sound system. Plenty of parking in front and to the side of the business. It is just doors down from Bill’s Pickin’ Parlor. For out of towners, Meeting St. is also known as Rt. 1 and is merely an extension of Gervais St. Once you cross the bridge into West Columbia, Gervais St. turns into Meeting St.

This handpicked group of artists and musicians are not new to the scene but some do not show much because of other commitments in their life and some are from other places, so are not yet known here. One thing I can assure you is each and every person selected for this show is extremely talented and we wanted to showcase not just our work but the work of these especially gifted friends.

ART SHOW & SALE featuring paintings by Jeanee Bourque and friends:

Tennyson Corley

The Handpicked Show will also feature; handmade jewelry by Marion Berry and handmade musical inventions by David and Devon Corley.

Our very talented musicians are all singer songwriters and all play the guitar and some play other instruments as well.
