The Carolina Foothills Artisan Center in Chesnee, SC, Calls for Application to Show Work at Facilities

The Carolina Foothills Artisan Center is pleased to announce our fifteenth year and a call for artist’s applications, now through Aug. 22, 2014. The center currently exhibits works from approximately 100 North and South Carolina artists and is located in downtown Chesnee, SC, near the intersection of SC Hwy. 221, and Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy. 11 and at 214 Rutherford Street, Landrum, SC.

The mission of the Carolina Foothills Artisan Center, a non-profit entity, is to develop the educational, artistic, cultural and economic growth of the Upstate by providing a means for North and South Carolina artists and the Foothills of Georgia artists to demonstrate the creative process and to showcase their works. The facility also provides a venue for citizens to learn about and purchase the work of Carolina artists.

The deadline for submissions is Aug. 22, 2014, and jury is invited to review of 40 applicants. Please get your application in early.  Artists will be notified of acceptance no later than Aug. 29, 2014.  The next scheduled Jury is April 2015.
